It's been so long since I've done an icon update and I had so many that the 202 icons had to be split into two posts:

Last night I dreamed I was Pam and I was getting married to Jim, I was even preggers. The ceremony was at this old hotel we (everyone in the office) went to (one of Michael's crazy trips maybe?). The only two things I remember from the ceremony are Dwight providing special music and singing some song about water and the fact that I woke up right before the ceremony ended. Dang it.

I've been in a bad mood all day. Can't seem to shake it. Any of the reasons below will help explain things:
I guess the running theme is I'm not feeling like I'm getting the respect I feel I deserve. So either I need to reevaluate myself and try adn figure out what I'm worth, or I can just try and get over it.
Since the only times I've felt at peace today were while reading Wicked in a quiet room, that's what I'm going to do. I'll watch The Office in the morning. Oh--that's another thing. Chuck has had the only good season finale in my book. Don't you Hollywood people know that finale is supposed to equal fantastic? The Big Bang Theory and NCIS just felt like regular episodes to me, which was extremely disappointing for the latter since they hyped up all this stuff about Tony and Ziva, and nothing really happened. I could even predict what was going to happen on Fringe. JJ, you should never let me be able to predict what's going to happen at the end of one of your shows. Granted I didn't figure out the last shot, but everything else? I totally called it. I just stopped watching Bones two-thirds of the way through because it was absolutely dumb. And Dollhouse? Ditch Topher, give Boyd and Paul they're own mystery solving show, and replace Whiskey as your lead instead of Echo. Because her storyline is ten times more interesting than anything Eliza Dushku has offered in thirteen episodes. *Sigh* C'mon, TV, you're supposed to be better than this.
- Being a sub and living in a house with kids makes me really wonder if being a teacher and having kids will be a good combination. I spend eight hours a day with kids who, for the most part, listen to what I say but are overshadowed by the one or two who are hellbent on ruining my day. I then come home to a five year old and an eight year old. The five year old, like most of the kids I see during the day, gets along with me.The eight year old however is a different story. Tonight I had to leave the house to keep from going ballistic on him. I know he's eight and he's entitled to do stupid stuff like running around making clucking noises at the top of his lungs or kick a soccer ball around inside the house, but I'm just tired of it. I end up coming home and feel like I'm yelling at him for every little thing he does. It makes me wonder if I'll someday do that to my own kids. Of course, they won't come back at me every time I ask them to do something with "Did Mommy/Daddy say I had to?"
- I restarted my computer yesterday and now Photoshop is acting weird. Normally I'll save my icon files in .jpg format using "Save for Web", but today when I tried that, the icons lost a ton of quality if they weren't black and white. So I tried to save in .png format, but even that didn't look the same uploaded to photobucket as when I saved it in Photohsop. It's really frustrating since the icon I noticed the most change in was for an elimination contest where I've made it to the final four.
- After posting the prologue to the new story (where I only got four replies), the only consistent replies I've gotten are from Nat and YodaKenobi. And while I love his comments dearly, it's not quite enough to keep me from feeling like a loser. I could get 15-25 replies to a chapter on Family Album, but now I'm only getting two? Must I really stick to sappy, sacchraine storytelling in order to get a higher number of readers? I really hope not. But still, part of me wonders if I'm not "past my prime" in a sense. Am I that unpopular? Is the story that bad already? (THIS IS NOT A PATHETIC ATTEMPT TO GUILT YOU ALL INTO READING AND REPLYING. ONLY DO SO IF YOU TRULY WANT TO... I'll stop yelling at you now.)
- I feel exhausted. I think I'm still trying to play catch up from last weekend where I went four days without being able to sleep through the night. Or at least only wake up once or twice.
- My summer job place that I interviewed at a week ago Monday and told me I'd hear back either way at the end of last week still hasn't contacted me. I'm trying to tell myself that no news is good news, but after last year's round of teaching position interviews, it's hard to convince myself of that.
I guess the running theme is I'm not feeling like I'm getting the respect I feel I deserve. So either I need to reevaluate myself and try adn figure out what I'm worth, or I can just try and get over it.

Last weekend my sister went and got me addicted to the Wicked soundtrack. I'm cutting myself off from listening to it so I don't get sick of it. And in case you need some icons from the musical, there are gorgeous ones here (also feature John Krasinski, Rashida Jones, and Jenna Fischer).
Now if only I could cut myself off from procrastinating and get some writing done...

Decided to do another icon meme. If you want to play along, leave me a message.
1. Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
crazyvictoria picked the following:

I made this one a couple of years ago. Sadly, I fear my skills with putting text into icons hasn't improved all that greatly. It's one of my biggest weaknesses. But as for the icon, it came from the photoshoot where John, Jenna, Rainn, and B.J. were playing golf in the office. And as for the text itself--that sentiment has not changed. I love me some JKras.

This is made by
crickets . In case you aren't familiar with the phrase, it comes from the TV show Friday Night Lights. If you haven't seen this show, shame on you. In my opinion, it's the only one who can come close to the greatness of Battlestar Galactica simply because it too revolves completely around fantastic characters. Don't worry about the football associated with the show, it's not that much. Just watch it for the Taylors. And the hot guys. Whichever is more important to you.

Made by
sixphanel . Leia likes nice men. Han is a nice guy. They kiss. Fangirls squee. This would be one of the many, many reasons why The Empire Strikes Back will be my favorite Star Wars movie for all time.

Made by
lucky_penny01 . This is from the fantastic Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog. If you haven't seen this, stop reading this meme and go watch it on Hulu pronto. Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion singing together? So great. Having it be put together by Joss Whedon and his sons? Even better. I have to watch it at least once a month.

This one is made by
dharmavati . If you aren't watching The Big Bang Theory, then again--shame on you. The amount of dorkiness in the writing room has to be off the charts with all the little jokes and games they plan on the show, like Klingon Boggle and the game associated with this icon. Why Jim Parsons (the actor who plays Sheldon) hasn't won an Emmy or any other award for this role is beyond me.

Adama loves Roslin. Roslin loves Adama. We love them both. You can add these two to the previously mentioned rant of "Why haven't these people won an Emmy for their roles?" Craziness.

I didn't take a nap yesterday, but I didn't get anything on the "need to do" list done either. Instead I sat on the couch and watched TLC and the Discovery channel and went to bed at 9:30pm. Thus, if only to keep me straight, here's what I need to do for today:
Rewrite themes for the final drabble weekPost drabble themesBSG picspam reviewOffice fashion post for the SAG awardsCatch up on daily devotionsRead 1 Samuel 1-4, 8, 10-12 for Bible study on SaturdayMake icons for various icontestsWatch the boys tonightCook dinnerTry and stay sane with the boys home on a snow day

Yesterday when I got home in the afternoon from Bible study, I was wiped out. I have no reason to think of why this would be. Today, feeling the same way, but I have a very good reason. Went to bed at 11, woken up at 4:30, didn't fall asleep again till 6:45ish, wake up and go back to sleep at 7:45, give up at 8:45.
Things I need to do right now - Prep, write, and post the picspam/recap on the BSG blog; find new drabble themes for the final week tomorrow (the ones on the schedule are good; but not great enough for Week 20), catch up on TV watching (yes, I'm putting this in the "need" category, shut up); do some more reading and reviewing of Luke Skywalker and the Shadow of Mindor; do SAG awards coverage on the Office blog; and maybe write my drabbles ahead of time or pen any of the five scenes for "Definition of Duty" I was supposed to write this week
Things I want to do right now - Nap, nap, and more nap
It's snowing, it's cold, it's Sunday, and I just got handed a glass of wine. Let's think about what's actually going to happen...

Randomness:
- My review for tonight's BSG
- I subbed five full days this week in five different schools; thus, I'm a little sleepy and feel like my week went by very quickly and is now mush in my memory
- I leave tomorrow to spend a couple days in the greater Cincy area for a baby shower and spending time with my friend and her boys
- My sister has finals next week and I hope she doesn't get too stressed about things
- Last night's Office was just meh in my opinion, but then again I don't like Michael trying to do stand up nor do I enjoy Stanley
- Is it sad that I consider setting the alarm for 7:30 tomorrow morning sleeping in? I think it is.

Since I haven't discussed it yet, my thoughts about this week's office:
-Steve Carrell is a brave, brave man for putting that much peanut butter in his hair.
-Ryan on drugs and being all friendly with Dwight and Michael = hilarity.
-Kelly: "I have a question: 1) How dare you?" Great line.
-Of course Dwight would end up with the gorgeous, Amazon, college-aged basketball player.
-Andy asking people if they think he and Angela (whom I dreamed last night went into labor while I was on the set... bizarre) are a better couple than Jim and Pam. Pam: "Phyllis?"
-Everyone's simultaneous reaction to the pix text from Michael of Dwight making out with the girl.
-Of course Creed would be the only one to actually know the security guard's name.
-I don't mind Jim being imperfect; in fact, I think it's necessary from time to time. I don't think they're trying to show that he will end up like Michael one day, just that he isn't the golden boy whose plans always work out in the end.
-I adore episodes written by Mindy Kaling.
-Oh, Toby. It makes me sad he's going to leave, but what a way to go.

Why awesomeness? Well to start things off, my sister got in last night. We're going to see Michael Buble this evening. Yay! But that's tonight and not yesterday.
Second reason--The Office. Seriously, I heart Jim and Pam. But if a guy did a stunt like Jim does in the second clip to me, I'm honestly not sure whether I would find it hysterical or want to break his jaw. Maybe both.
A little background--Pam just set her landlady up on a date with her boss, Michael, which of course went horribly.
And sidenote--I really loved (and felt bad for) Kevin. Poor thing. But the chair bit in the beginning (especially with Pam and Creed) was great.
And reason number three why last night was awesome: I experienced my first earthquake. This, too, should qualify for today, but since it woke me up while I was asleep, I'll still count it for yesterday. It made me want to get up when it happened at 5:36 this morning and turn on Google Earth on my computer. But I didn't.
And now time to watch live streaming of tonight's Battlestar Galactica.

I'm still around, just been busy and/or feeling too lazy to talk about stuff. But I know there's a lot I need to cover: adventures in substitute teaching, another weekend adventure with
mustafear, job hunting, dreams, BSG and Office talk, etc. So hopefully I'll be good this week and update.
